We’ve received a lot of feedback regarding our article about the difference between a grow house and a cultivation facility. Cannabis Grow Builders decided early on to focus our efforts on the more specific aspects of cultivation since so much of the research is moving toward Cannabis as medicine. Whenever the term medicine is applied it brings with it definitions that matter. Medical cannabis is a term for a derivative of the cannabis sativa plant used to relieve serious and chronic symptoms. Cannabis sativa contains many active compounds, but two are of interest for medical purposes: THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).
Medical cannabis is prescribed by physicians for their patients. As with any compound prescribed for medical use, the ingredients must be of the highest quality with specific and predictable concentrations. Imagine a diabetic sourcing their insulin and getting a wildly different product with different concentrations each time they fill a prescription. This is why predictability matters. This is also why mistakes during the cannabis cultivation process mean so much. The use of cannabis as medicine is being tested more rigorously than ever due to the promise researchers are seeing and the applications that appear on the near horizon. Accurate testing requires the production of an accurate product to test. Current clinical testing suggests cannabis has the ability to reduce nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy, improve appetite in people with HIV/AIDS, and reduce chronic pain and muscle spasms.
Contractors entering this arena quickly learn that cannabis cultivation is a unique skillset and the demand for their services and expertise is growing. We help by educating these professionals on the many aspects of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, darkness, lighting, timers, fail safe systems and how to install electronic monitoring systems. The goal is to create a highly profitable business that keeps the builder in high demand for long periods of time and a builder who has the ability to help their client produce a predictable crop. If what we’re doing is what you’ve tried to create then we should talk. Cannabis Grow Builders has been involved in the emerging legal Cannabis Industry as a builder and developer of grow facilities since 2016.
