Cannabis Investments Expected To Surge In Second Quarter 2021

If you are considering getting involved in the cannabis industry and are wondering if this is the right time you may choose to consider what Chris Walsh had to say last week. You may not know that Chris Walsh is the CEO of Marijuana Business Daily and many look to him and his publication as the industry bell weather and listen closely to what he has to say.

Chris Walsh was quoted on Friday December 4th and said he expects a surge of new capital investments to flow into the cannabis sector as soon as the second quarter of 2021. He went on to say that 2021 will likely bring new state legalization initiatives that will directly benefit cannabis and these will result in a resurgence of investment. Walsh went on to say he doesn’t expect meaningful policy reform at the federal level.

The growth of cannabis, like so much of the economy will hinge on what happens with the coronavirus virus and how effective the vaccines are. “As we get the first parts of these vaccines out there and people feel more comfortable that this is working … we will see investors moving in early,” Walsh said. “If that holds true, that’s going to be great because we’ve been under capital crunch for most of the year and I know that’s affecting a lot of businesses.”

At Cannabis Grow Builders we’re starting to hear from some of those on the sidelines who are wondering what the future holds for cannabis.
